i have narrowed my studs to 3 pairs. all three of them have one of the same stone a H, VS2, 0.505ct

The other stones in the pairs are
1) G, SL1—0.501--$1812
2) G, SL1—0.507--$1834
3) G, SL1—0.514—$1795

According to my understanding all being equal like G, SI1 the bigger the size should be more expensive so the choice 3. Correct? But it is the least expensive of the 3. Am I missing something? Which one would you choose? All are eye clean and “A Cut Above”

Could be the price differences reflect the market in which each stone was purchased. Doubtful they were all purchased on the same day and prices do fluctuate. Ask WF for a definitive answer though.

Because those three were among the pairs given as paired matches on WF. I am trying to to G or H with VS2 to get best quality stones so the three pairs I choose had the most I was wanting. Is matching G and H not good? Ty

I am concerned that SI1 might not be as clear and sparkly. I have never owned a diamond before so I am trying to get the best studs now. Ty

The only case where I'd ever match two different colors is if there was only one possible choice in the size the person is looking for. In this case, you can buy two stones the same color. I never even look at the website matches. It is so much easier to just put in .50-.55 H VS2-SI1 and see what comes up. There is a great H match to the H stone. But if you prefer G color, there is a great G match as well! So I would call WhiteFlash tomorrow and tell them you are interested in those two pairs and ask them to examine the diamonds and make sure they are all eyeclean. If they all are, then you just choose which color and price suits you best. Stones with light performance problems due to clarity do not make it into the ACA line, so I am not concerned about that. But I'd just want reassurance about the SI1 stones being eyeclean. I have a pair of H color ACA studs myself! The salesperson who usually helps me is Sheerah, and I am sure she or someone else can help you with this decision!

Ty what clarity are your H studs in? Also if they are mentioned eye clean on website do you still ask them to inspect them?
