Help me choose my next project - CRD lily or something else

Hi everyone, I've been dreaming about a CRD Lily ring for a long time. Small size, platinum.

I bought some 3mm lilac sapphires for the larger petals a couple of months ago. Then, while the sale was on over Easter, I picked up a 3.5mm purple spinel for the center and 3 different choices for the smaller petals (2mm deep purple sapphires, 1.8mm lavender sapphires, and 1.7mm Mozambique "paraiba" tourmaline. Today, I also purchased some 2mm kornerupine because they were available.

Anyway, I think I want the purple spinel center/lilac sapphire/kornerupine (see pic, with Mozambique paraiba tourmaline, which is very close in color.
The 1.8mm lavender sapphires are too close in color to the 3mm lilac sapphires. The 2mm purple sapphires with the purple spinel and lilac sapphires seems ok as well. I think I'm leaning to the kornerupine/paraiba, but I could be persuaded to go for purple, or to try something else altogether.

Except.. I also have 4 4x5mm lavender spinel pears, and 6 more 3mm lilac sapphires (10 total). And they look pretty good in a flower formation (well, not all the sapphires at once). Or perhaps as sidetones for a larger center stone in a different color (2 or 4). Or I could try for another spinel pear and see about a 5-petal flower shape. Or something else. So now I'm considering all kinds of things.

Decisions, decisions. what do you think?

I think what Autum chose is very pretty! You could also get a similar look if you put the green stones (tourmaline?) between the large petals of picture #3. Can we see that so we can compare?

From personal experience, scratching that itch feels soooooo gooooood.

I just love this color combo... it's ethereal. Every one of your ideas is pretty, of course, but this is my fave.

One more vote for this layout. Think of it, you have the gorgeous purple-pink flower surrounded by green leaves. It's per-fect.

And you'll have more than enough stones for another project in the future. Who says you only have to stop at one?

Ok, round 3.5mm purple spinel center, 3mm lilac sapphire "petals", and 2 mm kornerupine for the outside stones (the ones in pics are 1.7mm tourmalines)

OR

lilac sapphire center (would likely swap out for something slightly bigger, in the same purplish pink family), 4x5mm lavender spinel pear "petals" and 2mm kornerupine outside stones.

Help. Which one? platinum, bezel set, CRD lily or a variation on the lily setting.

Do one with the paraiba and one with the kornerupine.

Now you just have to choose which to do first and which - second.

You cannot go wrong with either! Personally, I love the look of the oval stones acting as flower petals. One thing seems sure--you need the little green tourmalines for the leafy effect. Avondale has a great suggestion also! These layouts are different enough that I could see 2 rings in your future!
This is a good problem to have! Let us know what you choose.
