Help me choose center stone dimensions

Please help ..... I would greatly appreciate your input and photos.
By some miracle, might anyone have handshot photos of:
-A halo ring with a 9x7 center stone
-A halo ring with a 10x8 center stone

Both on a size 6 finger

ANY center stone is fine, it's the visual dimensions I am concerned about.

Are both sizes good for everyday wear?

I don't want to go too small or too big and before I start the hunt for an oval center stone I want to see visuals and handshots and hear your opinions on SIZE
(for reference: wanting my halo in either 14 or 12 diamonds)

I am having a heck of a time finding pics that provide measurements.... as most specs are in carat weight.

I thank each and everyone of you for any help and input. If there is already a thread on this, I cannot find it ...

I contributed to the best I could on your previous thread asking the same.

Maybe try cutting out paper to the shapes / different sizes you are looking at and taping it to your finger?
I swear there’s a few of us here who have done that

You could also go online and find cheap fake gems in those sizes. Personally, I'd definitely go for the larger size.

This is a photo of my sapphire in its old setting. The sapphire’s dimensions are 9.89 x 8.6 (close to what you’re asking for). My ring size is 6.25.

I know it’s not exact but it’s close and I hope it helps!

I agree with @Rfisher... before I got a better sense of gemstone scale, I absolutely used to print and cut out gem photos to lay on my finger. lol And it helped! The thing about relying on others' photos is that their finger and hand size could be way different than yours. Photos also tend to make everything seem larger. Good luck!
