Hi all,

I have found two diamonds and I am finding it hard to decide between them, your help would be greatly appreciated!

Number 1
ACA - http://www.whiteflash.com/loose-diamonds/round-cut-loose-diamond-3619322.htm

Number 2

Gemologist's Report
"This stone displays high levels of brilliance which is exceptionally bright and balanced through out the stone. This stone has a vibrant sizzle and a fantastic sparkle, sure to catch everyone's eye in the room. The gemologist also noted this diamond to possess a white H color and has confirmed this stone is eye clean."

Thanks in advance!

I thought I was going to like number two better but I wouldn't be able to handle that inclusion and am not sure I'd agree it's eye clean. So based on that, I'd choose number one.

WF generally has nicer settings. What kind of setting do you want? Also WF has a better upgrade policy.

Both stones are equal to me in performance and clarity so at this point it's just vendor.

Thanks Rockbrat and Gypsy for the comments.

I should also add that number 1 is $1150 more expensive than 2, if that makes any difference to your opinions.

Gypsy- I want a simple solitaire setting preferably in the platinum between 2.7-3mm shank and more of a flat edge look than rounded.

Tried this on yesterday and thought it was too deep around the sides http://www.ajaffe.com/engagement-rings/cathedral-solitaire-with-bezel-set-profile-diamond-engagement-ring

Also like this WF one but don't want a surprise diamond http://www.whiteflash.com/engagement-rings/solitaire/flush-fit-cathedral-solitaire-engagement-ring-43.htm

Thanks

Hmm. $1150 is a pretty nice savings between the two. I don't know if I'd want to spend the additional money for stone 1, it seems like a lot on a 1 ct stone. But I also still don't know if i could deal with that table inclusion in stone 2. If you are okay with the inclusions in 2, then I'd suggest saving the $1150. That's a nice chunk towards a setting.
