Help me choose between 2 diamonds?

Hi, I'm having trouble choosing between these two diamonds on Blue Nile. I only know as much as I learned online but I was wondering if I could get some help?
Diamond 1
Diamond 2
Looks like they both have great cuts and similar in other qualities but the first has darker inclusions. Not sure if that would affect its look to the naked eye, but that's about as far as I got. Any help would be appreciated.

Diamond 1 is better.

They both gave good numbers to my eyes although the inclusions are more obvious in the second one. Are they both eye clean?
 
I looked on the videos and GIA certificates, both diamonds have negatives. The whiter one is #2, the better cut is #1. If I were you I would look at more options.

It's also HCA 0.8, but I wasn't sure if an H color would be noticeable on the ring. It will be set on a two-tone ring with white gold setting.

The 1.08 found by rockysalamander is utterly gorgeous. IS and Hearts images are utterly stunning!
 
Thanks to you guys, I looked up and learned a lot about idealscopes. I do remember her looking at rings with 1.2-1.25ct diamonds, so I was leaning more towards that size. I'm not sure if I'd be able to tell the difference between 1.08 and 1.2, so I may actually grab it and sacrifice some size for quality. Not sure if I can afford it yet, but if it's a home run I may pull some strings.

I also really like the 1.13 H/VS2 you posted in another thread. Thanks for the tips. So many great choices again, now I can't make up my mind on them:

I like the 1.08 and 1.13 the best.

For both, the clouds appear to be concentrated and not big and all over making one worry about haziness, but ask the JA gemologist to review it (not sales associate). I like the 1.20 for its size and overall performance too. The inclusion is slightly more visible, so that's why I prefer the other two. But, if neither you or the intended wearer are eagle-eyed, it would probably be fine.

If you elect not to get the 1.08, could you let @rhhgrhrthreh know? I think this might be a good fit with good performance for him and meets his brief. :mrgreen2:
 
1.08 or 1.13, but I tend to like 1.08 more.
1.08 has so clean SI1 clarity and the cut is so good with prominent contrast arrows!
