I was just about to take the plunge to buy this diamond... until I noticed what I think is a blue/grey tinge and now I can't unsee it.

Does this diamond have a blue nuance and is that visible to the naked eye?

I would appreciate any input If anyone spots other areas of concern.

Details:

1.51 ct, Ideal cut, F, VVS2, HPHT.

Table 55, depth 61.6, crown 34, pavilion 40.8.

Yes, it has blue nuance.

Thanks for confirming.

What are your thoughts on this one? https://www.medialink.email/v1/admin/diamonds/95229699/non_orbit

It's also an ideal cut, F color, but is it a little yellowish for an F or is it within the normal range? More importantly, would it still appear colorless to the naked eye?

I'm planning to get the center stone set in a 2mm pave band with H stones and I was told to stay within one or two color grades to maintain consistency. Would a D-E stone with H side stones have a big difference visually?

The color is within normal range for an F, but the cut precision isn't great.

According to the report, the proportions seem to be within the recommended parameters.

Ideal cut, table 55, depth 61.4, crown 34.6, pavilion 40.7, crown height 15.5, girdle 3.5.

What should I be looking for to ensure I get an excellent cut?

The numbers don't tell the whole story. We look at the cut precision by evaluating the symmetry in the arrows and between the arrows.
