Hi all,
I've received 3 idealscopes on diamonds from James Allen. Based on the mesmerizing rotating pictures, I had ranked the diamonds differently than the gemologist...so would like some help!
The diamonds in question are:
#288807 - 0.90 GIA XXX, I colour, VVS2, Depth %: 62.80, Table %: 55.00, Crown angle: 36.00, Pavillion angle: 40.80

#140724 - 0.91 GIA XXX, I colour, VVS1, Depth %: 62.30, Table %: 54.00, Crown angle: 35.00, Pavilion angle:40.80

None have fluoro. The gemologist's comments are below:
Diamond 288807 is very eye catching and offers great fire, brilliance, and scintillation. When compared alongside your other diamonds, this one performs the strongest and catches the eye. It has a higher/whiter "I" color and, as we'd expect, is perfectly eye clean. This diamond, as well as your others, has an excellent cut.
Diamond 140724 ranks as your second brightest and has great light performance as well. It's eye clean and has a true "I" color. Diamond 297117 is your third brightest and is very bright in its own right. It has a true "H" color and appears eye clean.
All three of your diamonds are bright, eye clean, and white in color, so there isn't a bad one in the group. In fact, they're all beautiful! I believe you'll be happy with purchasing any of them, but keep in mind that the gemologist found diamond 288807 to be the brightest. Its idealscope image doesn't indicate that it's the strongest, but I've confirmed with the gemologist that in person, it's definitely the winner off the three.
All of the prices are within my budget (~$5,000), so I'm really just looking for the strongest performer. Would appreciate everyone's input!
Thanks!
