Help in Tahitian Earrings

Hi,

I’m looking for a pair of “mismatched” Tahitian earrings.

Found this pair online for around $400. What do you all think? Price seems overall fair?

They're beautiful pearls, but part of the price of earrings is in the matching. I think they're a little high for mismatched. I created my own "mismatched" earrings when I lost one.

I'd love a pair of the white.

@ennui Great point, thank you! I think I’ll pass since there may be some size discrepancy due to white appearing larger than the dark pearl.

Good point, about white appearing larger. Also, consider if your hair is dark and the Tahitian disappears.

I often see mismatched earrings with Tahitian/Golden SS, or with two Tahitians in different tones.

I made my own pair some time ago and the white "match" looks funny. Visually much bigger. If I had a do-over, I would definitely downsize the white pearl.

Tahitians are very difficult to shop for - what sort of colors are you looking to find? The classic "peacock" overtone?
