Not sure if this is the right place to post this, but I'm looking for help identifying this bracelet. It is solid bronze, very heavy and made for a tiny wrist. I thought it was perhaps south east Asian, but some art forum members suggested it may be an African currency bracelet. I got in touch with a specialist who said he was not like and African design he had ever seen and may in fact be Islamic in origin? any input is welcome.
