Help! I’m Lost in a Sea of Sapphires and I Need the Perfect One to Propose

The earthy green of the stone, the princess cut diamonds, the rich yellow gold, the milgrain, the floral details, the leaf embossing on the band that looks like subtle hearts. You wanted a very special piece for a very special occasion, and I do believe you have it. You have fantastic taste, and he is going to go wild for this ring. Good luck on the proposal and best wishes to you both!!

Your lucky lucky fiancé! Please come back after you propose and show us how it looks on his finger.

So glad to hear it, looks amazing :kiss2:

You nailed it, woman!

(Did the OP tell us they were a woman? I was assuming they're a man--though we could both be wrong...)

No, you are correct! OP's partner is definitely of the male persuasion. @toomuchB actually suggested the stone that OP ended up buying, so I was just giving her props!! :appl:

I meant OP THEMSELF might be a man--or a woman--or a nonbinary person. OP did tell us the future fiancé is a man, but I don't think they said what their own gender was.

Edit: OH, but I see you were referring to toomuchB as a woman, not to the OP. Now I get it!

I forgot to mention earlier—I'm a man, and my partner is a man as well. No worries at all about the mix-up; I would’ve assumed the same thing in your shoes, and honestly, I’ve made the same kind of mistake plenty of times myself!

Overall, I’m really happy with how the ring turned out—it’s absolutely beautiful. I’m not proposing just yet, but I’ve already planned it for our next vacation. I’ll definitely let you all know how it goes (though I already know he’ll say yes, so the surprise part is kind of out the window!).

Congratulations on both a stunning ring and your upcoming engagement.
Lucky him having a partner determined to “knock his socks off”, your love, care and attention to detail is inspiring.
Don’t forget to come back with the hand shots, all us “die hards” here live for these photos ha ha.

Thank you all for helping me with the stone! I’m very happy with both the stone and the final ring. The ring was custom-made by David Klass, and he did an amazing job. The pictures only capture about 80% of its true beauty—it looks way better in person. Just wanted to share this quick update and say how thrilled I am with how everything turned out!112188.jpg112188-2.jpg112188-3.jpg112188-4.jpg

Absolutely gorgeous! Well done! Please come back after the proposal - would be so fun to see hand shots. Wishing you both a lifetime of happiness :)
