I meant OP THEMSELF might be a man--or a woman--or a nonbinary person. OP did tell us the future fiancé is a man, but I don't think they said what their own gender was.

I forgot to mention earlier—I'm a man, and my partner is a man as well. No worries at all about the mix-up; I would’ve assumed the same thing in your shoes, and honestly, I’ve made the same kind of mistake plenty of times myself!

Overall, I’m really happy with how the ring turned out—it’s absolutely beautiful. I’m not proposing just yet, but I’ve already planned it for our next vacation. I’ll definitely let you all know how it goes (though I already know he’ll say yes, so the surprise part is kind of out the window!).

Thank you all for helping me with the stone! I’m very happy with both the stone and the final ring. The ring was custom-made by David Klass, and he did an amazing job. The pictures only capture about 80% of its true beauty—it looks way better in person. Just wanted to share this quick update and say how thrilled I am with how everything turned out!
