Dear Experts,
I need advice. I am not sure if this is a good deal or not.
Recently, my fiance and I went to a wholesale dealer (2 of his friends also bought from this person and he only deals with referrals..I think the company existed for 25 years) This is a big purchase for us so would like to get another opinion.

1) He told us that the diamond was ideal cut but I thought also the pavilion and crown determined the cut. You can't tell by the cert ?

2) Price is incredibly low...$4000 (it is within out budget) How is it possible ? It's too good to be true..We looked diamonds before but the price was never this low. Could the cert be wrong ? I did notice a little yellow (but i was looking at E diamond before the H. ) away from flourenscnet lighting.

What factors would determine price reduction ?

3) He also offered to give us appraisal for insurance purposes.
Shouldn't the appraisal come from independent party ?

4) There is no refund policy but we can exchange or upgrade in the future.
Is this good ?
We have not dealt with a wholesaler before so I do not know.
