my original e ring has a radiant flanked by two marquise. the marquise are about .25-.3 ct each, J/K and one of them is an I1 (small cloud). because the marquise tend to show a little brown in the tips, it has always kind of been an ambition of mine to one day replace those two marquise with D,E,F range colors and SI clarity of the same size, to make the ring more overall white like the radiant. i''m starting to think about it more seriously now, so i have looked online at PS vendor websites, but i just don''t even see anything that small in a marquise (or for any other shape for that matter)! i guess my first question is, should i even be trying to buy online, or is this something that has to be in the jewelers had in order for him/her to ascertain exactly the size, color and clarity that will fit the setting as is and look right with the radiant? if i can buy online, where on earth do i find stones that size? thanks for any advice anyone can give!
