Help finding a yellow diamond

Hello all :wavey: I've been looking for a yellow sapphire, but I just saw a yellow diamond today and it was really something, so I thought I'd try to look around and see if I could find a yellow(ish) diamond.

It doesn't need to be a "fancy yellow", it could be an otherwise yellowish diamond. I really haven't seen anything other than the ideal standard with respect to diamonds, so I wanted to reach out to people who have experience and could maybe show me some less than ideal colored diamonds. I saw some interesting listing on loupe troop and eBay, but I really don't know what I'm looking at lol.

This might be kind of a pipe dream, my budget is about 3.5k-4k, (its for an engagement ring), but I've been looking at sapphires and other gems, and I'd prefer not to leave any stones unturned (haha, see what I did there?) Any help/information/links would be greatly appreciated.

Check out James Allen, Diamonds by Lauren, and Leibish. What size/shape are you hoping for?

Thank you! I prefer radiant and cushion cuts, but round would be great if the color is nice. I think for my price range the largest I'll probably find is 6x6mm, but larger is always better haha.

I'm hoping to find something whose dimensions, length and width, are equal or close to each other. That oval stone is very pretty, but I don't think it'll work for what I have planned. I'm going to pour over the rings available, the colors of some of these stones are awesome. I kind of have a feeling that I might not go further down this path because my budget won't allow, but I appreciate you showing me this much. Maybe I'll get lucky :D

Love Diamonds by Lauren!

Do you know how much yellow you'd like? It might also be worth searching the regular sites (Blue Nile, Whiteflash, James Allen) for lower coloured diamonds if you'd like a yellow tinge, rather than a yellow hue :)

i know a lot of people hate "Crushed ice cushions" but for some reason I like them in yellow- something about the fractured sparkle with a color appeals to me.

If you are into that style, James Allen has a TON of stones under 4K in the yellow range. Peruse at your pleasure, lots of ugh stones but a handful of pretty ones.

Based PURELY on the video, something about this one i really like. An expert can tell if you it's a good one but i found myself just watching it spin lol. And the imperfection blends fairly well into the color. Not sure if its to your taste but throwing it out there as it has the size and the color.

Good luck! :wavey:

I loooove yellow diamonds and just bought this L coloured diamond off Loupe Troop. I'll post pics when I receive it next week, but here is one from the seller:

Brian Gavin sells loose cape colored diamonds (colors K through Z) and set fancy yellow colored diamonds.

The cape colored diamonds are cut the same as Brian Gavin signature diamonds. Perhaps you can request a custom cut Z-colored diamond in your budget if you're really open to a faintly yellow stone. I think that would be a beautiful option. Have it set in an 22k or greater yellow cup to intensify the color.

Mark Broumand and DBL both have settings with yellow cups. MB's cups are engraved. DBL uses plain cups.

Mark Broumand also sells fancy colored diamond rings.
