Help finding a diamond for engagement ring

Hi,
I've just recently started looking for an engagement ring for my girlfriend which has been an overwhelming experience so but stumbled over this forum which has been really useful!
From what I can gather, she would prefer a round cut diamond and having a white diamond is important!
I'm in Melbourne, Australia and for my budget of aud 14000, I could get a 1.2carat triple ex E VS2 from local stores. My impression from going through this forum is that buying online may get me a better diamond. My initial thoughts were that I could just check some online stores (have checked JA, blue Nile) and chuck the numbers into the HCA Tool to make sure it was less than 2 but it seems that there's more to it.
Would anyone be willing to point me towards some decent diamonds in my budget?

You want to look for HCA <2 and use the following cheat sheet:

Depth % 60-62.0 (up to 62.2 may be okay)
Table % 53-58 (some prefer 53-57)
Girdle T-M-ST
Culet N-P
Crown Angle 34-35
Pavilion Angle 40.6-41 (some prefer 40.6-40.9)

With taxes and everything, I'm not sure how much of a deal you'd get. But here are some diamonds. Ask BlueNile for photos if you're interested; sometimes they can get them. And James Allen can also get ASETs for you.
