Hello!
I have a diamond that I need to replace from Blue Nile--the new stone needs to be at least $2770USD.
I have gone back and forth on a number of cuts (emerald, asscher, oval, heart and pear), and pear is now winning. The problem is I have very little knowledge about how to pick a pear, and I'd really appreciate some help finding the best cut (preferably as chubby as possible). I have experience with a number of poorly cut and unsatisfying diamonds, and I'd truly like not to add another to my collection.
I found this pear: https://www.bluenile.com/au/diamond...MONDS&track=viewDiamondDetails&action=sameTab
Can someone with knowledge tell me if this is a good'un?
If anyone would like to suggest others, my must-haves are eye-clean, and a minimal bow-tie. Colour doesn't bother me. I plan to set it east-west in a yellow gold bezel.
Thank you so much for your help!!
