Help deciding on setting style

Hi Pricescope community,

I am having difficulty on deciding how to set an oval diamond.

1) four prong solitaire to wear with an eternity band (would have to buy one with round diamonds)
2) not a halo person, but a delicate frame of diamonds around an oval center appeals to me with a plain shank.
3) three stone setting (will be worn on my left hand)

Anyone input would be appreciated as I sort through these options

I love side pears only with larger center stones. That way they don't lay practically flat on top of the fingers. They slope down more.'

I do love the solitaire with the double prongs, but if you want more size appearance, you could add the halo. But I'd do a very delicate halo like the Victor Canera Emilya or this one:

Obviously you can wear a diamond wedding band with both of those if you wish.

I like three ovals, but it would drive me nuts if they weren't perfectly matched. I have a colored stone ring with half moons, but that is not my favorite for an engagement ring. So I think I'd personally go with the solitaire or halo with plain shank for an e-ring. For a right hand ring, I'd do one of the three stone rings.

Thank you very much for your response! I was unsure about the points of the pears, and I don't want the proportions to be off in such a way that the pears look like wings.

I am partial, because I am in the process of getting an oval diamond set in my three stone setting with pear side stones. It's unusual and elegant! I vote for this look

Half moon side stones are a close runner up though.
