He is charging me $10,500. Please let me know your honest opinion. I do not want to be spending that much money on a bad quality stone. The color and size are perfect but I am concerned about the cut being good (instead of very good or excellent).

I am by no means a diamond expert, but those table/depth numbers look really off to me. It's a good price for carat weight and color, but a GIA good is NEVER worth a lower price (in my opinion). I have compared my GIA triple excellent to my mom's GIA good and can see a huge difference right away.

That being said, I do think that many diamonds that fall outside of the "ideal" proportions can still be very pretty, especially if you haven't seen or worked with a ton of diamonds. I have a diamond that is more of a 60/60 diamond (60% table/60% depth), and I absolutely love how it performs.

Table is too big, won't qualify for GIA EX or AGS 0. Combined with the Good symmetry/Polish is is probably not good at all.
