Hi from a long time lurker but first time poster and complete idiot when it comes to diamonds
We are trying to get an exact replica of the tiffany legacy (square) as seen on this page

and are thinking to purchase the one from Exceldiamonds.
We are looking at around $6500 and would like around 1 carat (would like a reasonable size as I have large fingers) but really quality of the ring needs to be as good as the tiffany ring for fire, sparkle etc.
So I have a couple of questions that I hope you can help with:
1. Does anyone have an Excel legacy replica and how close is it to the real thing?
2. We are trying to find a stone for the centre and are looking for a cushion cut (is this the right cut for the legacy?) We aren''t sure if we should be looking at Asscher because the tiffany looks different to the cushion cut?
3 We have found the below stone which is a cushion and would like some help to know if it''s going to look good in the setting and what it might look like in the setting
Carat : 1.01
Clarity : VS2
Color : G
Measurements: 5.86 x 5.71 x 3.93
Depth: 68.8
Table: 65%
Girdle: Medium to Slightly Thick
Culet: None
Polish: Very good
Symmetry: Very good
Fluorescence: N Price is $4.5k for the diamond (this is really a lot more than we were looking to pay initially but we can''t seem to find anything for less) Would you say this is a fair price for the quality?
The following are images of the diamond (we aren''t able to view it as we don''t live near the dealer)
Any advice, comments, guidance would be gratefully received. This is a big purchase for us so we really need it to be right!
