Hi all,

This is the first time I have ever contributed to this site and I have a question for all the men and women out there (not sure if this is the right area to ask the questions). I''m currently shopping for my engagement ring and i''m chasing a 3 stone ring. I''m just wondering when i eventually get married I want my wedding band to fit flush against the engagement ring, is that possible with a 3 stone ring? And if so does anyone have any pictures or ideas? The main ring I have been looking at is a radiant cut main diamond (1.5-2ct) with trilliants on each side around the .3ct each.

Thanks heaps

I think I''ve seen some 3 stones sit flush against wedding bands. Your best bet might be to ask the vendor you are buying the e-ring from... the vendor may have "matching" wedding bands. (I know that Blue Nile and White Flash for example "suggest" one to go with the setting).

Hoepfully, someone can give you better advice. :)

I think it is possible if the shank of the ring is thick enough to accommodate the basket of the center diamond.

Are you sure you don''t like a gap? I think a gap looks sexy

Okay...I agree with DD....it is possible if the band is very wide. But this is what I normally think of when I think of 3 stone with matching band:

And I also agree with DD that a gap is sexy....if you pick the right WB! you should check out the Leon Mege website theartofplatinum....he has a radiunt with trap sides that is TDF.

ETA: I meant radiant!

definitely possible, depends on the design, how high the basket, etc.

This one is specifically designed to sit flush with another band (one reason I chose it) http://www.briangavindiamonds.com/home/ring-details/?product_id=5450
for example the crossed trellis on BGD site does not sit flush
So there are styles out there that will
