If you do decide to liquidate your sapphire (either ring or just the stone), let me know as I'm still on the hunt. So having said that, I vote twice for "bigger is better"! ;)
 
Thanks everyone! I went off and did some more research, looked at some very high end stones, both heated and unheated and I definitely love my 8ct best. I’m starting to spot colour better (even online) and the 16ct definitely lacks the vividness of Gengar. It was super clean and transparent but I actually enjoy Gengar’s bright glow more. Also saw some unheated stones that still didn’t live up to Gengar in my eyes so I’m going to stop my madness.
