I have the 3 prong martini and I LOVE them. They look way bigger on your ears and they sit very close to your head so there is no drooping on the ears. I have had 4 prong v shaped and 4 prong basket and now 3 prong martini and by far the martini is my fave.

thanks mara..
do you think the martini sits too low? im such a complainer..worried that theyll droop..worried that they sit too low.. :P but ive heard really only good things about the setting...
anyway, i went with the maritini setting for my studs..so hopefully, they will be here thursday! cant wait! thanks!

Unless your pierced hole is really big, there is no reason why they would droop. Besides, they'll look HUGE on your ears!

Hi Bling,

I have the martini settings and they are great. They don't droop, and they are weightless. They don't sit so close to be uncomfortable. I don't think I'd have anything else at this point. I hope you like yours!

edited to add: What color and clarity did you go with? I didn't see it in your posts.

Bling,

What else did you buy from them? I missed the eye candy on that one! Also, did you get heavy duty pushbacks, screwposts or squeezebacks?

Congrats on your purchase and can't wait to see the pics!

I found some nice sidestones for my mothers three stone ring from DI..they worked out perfectly with her center stone..that she had already. I have yet to post pics, but i will soon!
it was recommended that i get the pushback backings as they work very well with the martinis.
Thanks!

Bling,

The great thing about getting the heavy duty pushbacks is that you can also use the squeezebacks in the future if you feel safety becomes an issue with the heavy duty pbs. FYI, the squeezebacks also work just as well with the martini settings, since the flat disk is pushed up against the back of the ear (hence, 'flattening' the lobe a bit so that the martini setting sits firmly inside). I have a pair of martinis with squeezebacks and I love them. While they take a little getting used to to get on, I, personally find that they have offered me the greatest security (never had an issue with them sliding off, at all). (Can you tell I'm a fan?

yay on the martini...my right hole doesn't droop but is slightly lower because my ear hole there for whatever reason is slightly larger. but it still sits firmly on the ear. i have pushbacks, i meant to ask for screwbacks but forgot..and i am actually happy with the pushbacks, they are super easy to put on and take off (read..fast!) as opposed to screwbacks which took forever for me to handle which somewhat deterred me sometimes from wearing them. only once has my pushback gotten loose..and i check them during the day and push them firmly back to my lobes so i think we'll be okay.

those are going to look HUGE on your ear! mine are very noticeable and they are much smaller! i can't wait to see them!

Mara,

I KNOW there are people here on this forum who LOVE screwposts, but I'm with you on this one - I can't, for the life of me, stand them!

After losing one of my darlings due to the blasted screwposts (which WOULD take forever to put on
