Hi, I recently saw a diamond in a pawn shop that I cannot identify. It is a cut cornered square diamond with a pavilion cut like a round. I would call it some form of modified square brilliant. It is laser inscribed with a crown symbol much like a checker and a 5 digit number. I know it is a specialty cut but cannot identify which one or what the 5 digit code is refers to. Whether it is a brand number or a grading service serial number. The diamond measures 5.93mm x5.93mm x 3.85mm.

Every time I try to find information on a laser inscribed crown symbol on the girdle I keep getting info for the Royal Asscher cut. Can anyone tell me what other cuts would have a crown symbol laser inscribed on it?

Thanks

I don''t know about the crown...But I know both Lucere''s and Lucida''s both have cut-cornered step like tops with brilliant cut pavilions..
Good luck!

Maybe it is a Royal Asscher - that could be quite a find!!!
