Great news, everyone! I went to my jeweller yesterday and he was absolutely thrilled with the pic. He got the right idea and set right to work. He whipped up a mold while I waited and mocked up the setting. We decided that since my e-ring is 2.7mm, we would make the band the same, in knife edge. Then, because the corresponding diamonds (in mm) measure up to about five pointers, we decided we would use those. He told me if they didn't sit right or look right, he would size down to four pointers, but that the final decision would be mine. The side profile of the setting will be in a u-shape so the diamonds will be visible. I can't wait to see the final product (I secretly wanted to run off with the wax mold!

I'll have my ring in a few weeks. With pictures to boot! And a glowing recommendation for who I believe is the best custom jeweller in Toronto
