Although I loved it and think its an amazing movie, its not exactly easy watching...

however, it needs to be seen.

the wonderful thing about The Butler is that it also is a timeline of the civil rights movement within an entertaining and moving film re family.

back to back these films make a very moving portrait of American History.

as you may have guessed i'm not much into rom-com types of moves and always seek experience and understanding in films.

Midnight in Paris is one such film that is fluffy but not fluff. family issues. relationship issues. comedy abounds. but at the end of the film "the wrap" is so good that it really points out the obvious.

oh, and add The Artist to that list!
