i haven''t really been on the last month or so, but i know things were a bit tense then. I can''t really say what it''s like now since i don''t even really have the time to lurk anymore (

) but i know that it wasn''t an environment that really made you want to stay. i don''t know about a trend...i''d probably buy into that theory though :)

yes and YES. I''m trying to finish up my research while i''m in my internship and while she''s a really nice lady she''s not exactly what you would call a ''coddler'' if you know what I mean! I haven''t been this exhausted in a LONG time, but thank you, i''m definitely trying to hang in there!

Oh sweetie....this IS a tough time!!!! I''ve totally been there. Total stress. I think they forget that they too were learning at one time. You''re close if you''re doing the intern jigs. Don''t worry--it WILL end and you''ll have those beautiful three letters behind your name. (Then the ceu fun will begin- ha.) Anyway, keep your sense of humor and remember that you indeed have to be a coddler if you are to be a really good slp--that''s what your clients NEED. Too bad some people (clinical supervisors) feel they have to show their superiority by being so frosty. Oh well, this too shall pass. Good luck!
 
Yeah, it seems moody lately..and I haven''t even been around that much. Wish people were in better moods, but I understand all of the intervening factors.

Haha, thanks! It cracked me up just typing it.

I haven't been around much lately so I really can't address the original question Musey posed. (We're in the middle of a HUGE remodel, and my time is stretched pretty thin. And I've been spending what wee bit of time I do have on some home/kitchen/remodeling forums that have been really helpful.)

Anyway, I miss you guys, and have been THINKING about you. Really!
