I had sold my old rings, pendants, bracelets to a refinery and got the stones back. I have over 100 emeralds, rubies, sapphires, seed pearls, garnet. How do I go about finding the size of my stones (measure myself with a ruler?), finding a bracelet or ring setting and finding someone to put them together?

To measure loose stones I use calipers. I have these and they work very well:

If you are looking to have custom pieces made you could work with your local jeweler or David Klass is well liked here.
For more budget friendly settings, search eBay for user names mydiamondzone or my favorite is leejewelry. They can customize any of their settings to fit your stones. Most local jewelers be willing to set the loose stones in a setting purchased elsewhere. Pricing for setting stones can vary greatly from jeweler to jeweler, so it's best to call around. My jeweler sets stones for $50-$60.
Have fun!
