Has anyone tried the Beaumade App for trying virtual rings?

Have any of you tried the Beaumade App on your iphone? It's an app with a few ring designers - CVB, Singlestone, LAD and a few others. You simply take a photo of your hand and you can then try on the ring. I don't feel it offers a good perspective. Any input? Just curious.

I've had great feedback on the app. It's true that when you scale the ring to fit your hand, the entire thing scales including the center stone, which is something the app developers are are aware of, but it's a complex problem to solve. In the meantime, I feel it still adds value, especially since the app is free to download and use, and allows you to see whether a certain setting style, stone shape or ring suits your hand as a whole. To be able to see if you prefer the look of a solitaire or a halo, bezel versus prong set, 4-6-8 prongs, how different metal colors work with your skin tone, etc. The only thing it doesn't help with is seeing how a certain sized center stone will scale to your hand. But it's a fun virtual try on app and I've really loved being a part of it!

I just downloaded it and played with a bunch of rings. Sooooo fun!

Sadly for my wallet it confirmed that my big fingers need BIG diamonds.

I downloaded it and it's fun to play with. What Erica explained about scale is true, so you aren't going to get accuracy with size on your finger. But that's okay! Seeing how different styles, shapes and metals look on your own hand is really fun!

Take pictures of your hands at different lengths away from the camera! Once you get it right and the rings look proportional on your finger, it's awesome. Found out asschers look good on me. Dangerous, very dangerous.

It's very fun! I took a photo of my wedding band and other stacking rings on my finger and then could see how styles would look stacked with them.

It's really fun! I've been playing with it instead of cleaning my house lol. A good way to get an idea of what the different shapes and styles will look like on the hand.
