I got the day off tomorrow, and shall have a nice meal to be followed by a film to celebrate.

I don't bother with such traditions, just like to celebrate as food is involved!

I miss the special celebration foods, especially the savoury ones like nests of deep fried shredded taro and arrowhead crisps. However, I would not say no to the candied vegetables.

Happy new year! I'm donning my qipao tonight, and lighting fireworks at a temple ::). My family dinner was supposed to be tonight, but it got moved to tomorrow night, so I'm eating at my friend's house!! Hope you all have an amazing year of the ram!
