...My eternity ring!!

Three years ago yesterday my youngest daughter was born. Three years ago today my lovely husband rammed a beautiful bespoke eternity on my very swollen finger in hospital, following the difficult, traumatic 4 hour surgery the day before of which I almost didn't make it through. So, trauma forgotten (except by DH who refuses still to talk about it much) happy birthday to my very precious, never removed ring!

(Specs if interested: 1.75 CTW princess cut full eternity, F colour VS1)

In an ideal world 'push' presents would be just as important as e-rings.
They are certainly 'earned' in a way other gifts are not!

Thank you! And VR - I am ashamed about the dirtiness! I have just scrubbed it to within an inch of its life with a toothbrush & had it in the ultrasonic on a long cycle, and it looks like a different ring Will post another picture in a minute, all clean & sparkly!

I think i might run it to my jeweller next week for a 'proper' clean. It is much better, but doesn't look like it did when I was given it. The diamonds were all clear & had lots of colour in them originally. The only colour flashes I get these days are under the bathroom spotlights! And i DO clean it often - usually twice a week, but the setting is enclosed & cage like on the underside, so its a pain in the bum to get at.
