hand carved ivory & onyx necklesses

these are hand carved ivory & onyx necklesses-i believe these are chinese origin bought in washington, dc about 30 yrs ago. dont know much about them before that date-the store only had these two items at the time & little info at that-steve...

I don't know if they're Chinese in origin. I'm not an expert but I find Chinese carved ivory usually has much finer workmanship/detailing.

Agree, they are beautiful and I like the style. BTW, looking at your pendant gave me an idea, I have loose old beads, not enough for a full necklace but now I know what to use instead of a pendant. Thank you, Steve!
