Halo that matches center stone? Anyone have one to share?

I was recently looking at a parcel of small colored stones (tsavorites) and was playing with the idea of using these in a ring with a matching tsavorite center stone. Does anyone have a ring that shows a center stone surrounded by stones of the same species? I know Ivy New York has a lot of jaw dropping rings where the center matches the halo.

I'd love to see examples!

I think it can be a very unique look for something like a cocktail ring. Here are 2 pics from PS's own blog:

Okay, nonsequitur here, but Erini, I *think* you'll forgive me

Just wanted to say that I cannot tolerate those knuckle rings like Beyonce has on in that hand shot of the sapphire ring. Yuk, like your fingers are in prison!

I love this look. I also love different colors. Someday I may do pink stone in a ruby halo. Or a sapphire in a tsav, like this long time favorite of mine from Nelson's Rarieties.

I don't own any but have seen Leon Mege create a few with coloured double halos. You'll also often see this done with yellow diamonds, to amp up colour and increase perceived size.

Check out this Etsy seller, who is unloaded a cache of vintage garnet pieces found in an attic. What's the term for this? Vintage new? Many garnets and halos.
