Halo and trillion setting with Radiant Center stone? HELP!

Hi everyone

I have a 1.90 radiant cut diamond that is set in platinum with trillion side stones. I really want my ring to look larger. Is it better to just reset only the center stone in a halo setting or what if I get a halo setting around the side trillions as well. Im not sure if I keep the trillions in the setting and have diamonds around them if the setting will make my ring look bigger or just use a halo setting with the center stone alone. Thoughts?

I currently have an asscher set in a halo and am considering a reset. I realize you have a radiant but I am sort of dealing with the same question about finger coverage. My thread link is posted below, there are a few pictures of rings with halos and side stones.

DearBuddah posted on my thread she has an asscher set with trillions and was considering adding a halo, someone was able to photoshop a halo around her ring. Here is that link:

I personally love the look of the rings with halos and side stones, for me it would be a matter of making sure it all flowed together nicely.

what about the radiant in a halo with the trillions on the outside of the halo. I think that would be pretty.

My personal opinion is too much embellishment takes away from the center stone. It is the same theory as floral design: The eye needs to know where to land.

I think it would be very pretty as well. I only put my thread links for her to see the pictures of the different rings with halos (my thread relates in that I am trying to figure out whether I want add sidestones to my halo). I know most of the pictures are asschers but I think it gives an idea of what it would look like, no matter the stones cut. With the link to DearBuddah she has a ring with trillions, although an set with an asscher there is a photoshop picture someone did adding a halo to her current ring. It gives an excellet perspective of what her particular ring with trillion side stones would look like with an added halo. This is what I belive vicstasi was trying to picture, so figured I could post the links as a quick reference. Not sure why they didn't work. I have seen radiants in halo settings before and I love it. I wasn't able to find many radiant halo pictures with side stones. Most that I found are either asscher or emerald. Here is a picture of just a radiant with a halo. I do believe it would great increase the presence of your radiant, but if you do add side stones I agree that the trillions would look nicer set outside the halo.

There are several example of rings with halos. Some have just the center stone with a halo, others have the center and the side stones with halos. Though, I think, that most of the examples have trap sides. I dont think I have ever seen a trillion that has a halo. IMHO I dn't know if I would do that. To me Trillions are more of a modern looking cut while putting a halo tends to give a more antique feeling.

I have to agree I think if you put a halo around your radiant, then your trillions and then small melee down the shoulder it would be VERY pretty. Maybe some one who is good with photoshop could step in and show us and example.
