Jas is right, cheap shampoo will strip the color, or even better yet buy a clarifying/stripping/buildup removing shampoo. Suave, Pantene and other brands in the grocery store will carry a clarifying shampoo in their line.
I know its been a few days, is it better?
If it has not lightened to your satisfaction, talk to your stylist, she can easily fix this.
