H&A

Is it possible to get a J I1 or I2 H& A? Would the H&A indicate S2 or above? Saw a ring today with clear (H&) A but clarity not specified.

Hearts & Arrows is an effect resulting from precision of cut, so any clarity/color can potentially be H&A. However, since this level of cutting precision comes at a premium in the first place, most H&A diamonds fall into the SI and above clarity grades.

Thank you so much.The stone was presented as having a minimum of the lower figures. I would have to ask for it to be certified. Bit odd actually all round Ha A pun.
