Dang, I had written a whole long story about how it happened and my post disappeared!
Anyways to make a long story short, we went out for dinner and when we got home our living room was all decorated with flowers and balloons and candles, etc. There was champagne too! This was all a surprise for me. Turns out he gave our keys to his lil sis so she can sneak in while we''re gone and do the decorations!!
We sat for a while and drank champagne. He told me how much he loved me and told me my gift is on the computer desk so I went there but there was nothing there. I turned around and he had the ring box out and asked me to marry him! He was sitting on the couch at the time but I asked him jokingly to get down on his knee and he did!
I love the ring!! It''s a halo, princess cut centre - 0.72 ct (1.02 tcw with 40 smaller diamonds in the setting). The center stone is 0.72 ct, F, excellent cut, VS2. The smaller diamonds are VG cut, F-G. I love it on my finger!
The only thing that sucks is that he hasn''t had a chance to talk to my parents yet so when we visit them tomorrow we have to pretend nothing happened and that we''re not engaged yet!!
