Grossbard Radiant or Emerald Step Cut?

From a timelessness standpoint, which shape do you think might be an elegantly classic option? (Hoping for around a 2.00 ct. center stone.) My boyfriend is not the type to shop for jewelry, so I have a lot invested in this one engagement ring purchase.

I have to say the EC. I just love that cut and, IMO, it is the most classy diamond there is

Definitely this cut has stood the test of time - simplicity and quality always works! OOOH I love EC's!

Should look rather substantial too in 2 carats!
