Oh, my! I think that tsavorite is stunning!!!! If it''s as bright and lively as its picture suggests, it should be incredible. I''ll be curious to hear what Leon says after he''s seen it in real life. I''d trust his judgement completely.

This might be kind of an indiscreet question, I certainly don''t mean it that way, but how much does a high quality 3 carat Tsav run? (Per carat?) I''d really like one, I need to know much much to start saving.

No problem. Upwards of $1,500 per carat, I believe.

I know Pokey said in one of his threads that his stone (c. 2.3ct I think) was around $5k total.

Mine which is a 1.42ct cushion was around the $1,600 mark
