Got two ASET images to review...

I picked out a 1.22k cushion and a 1.1k radiant. Both face up about the same size and are eye clean. Both diamonds are about $5K and close enough in price to not matter.

Attached are ASET images of both of them. Looks like they are ok. I was rooting for the radiant, but it seems that the cushion may actually be the better diamond overall. I can't see these in person so I appreciate advice on the images.

Also appreciate any recommendations of alternatives if necessary. I'm sticking with square radiants and square-ish cushions.

Hello!

What are your parameters for color? (Radiants show color more than most)... Also, did your fiance specify that she liked cushions with the "crushed ice" look or with chunkier facets? There are some straight-up cushion experts on PS that are always eager to help.

I'm looking at H or better color. Fiance is not all picky and just wants a 'nice' diamond. Clearly that's very subjective, but she doesnt know anything about diamonds and doesn't want to know much. Here's the general rules:

Not round
Not brown (eye-clean white)
Not emerald cut style
Radiant better than princess
Cushions are nice
Square is good

I asked her about crushed ice vs big chunks before and she's wishy washy about that. She doesn't like the emerald cut, and she likes the radiant better than the princess now that she has compared them. That seems to put her in the middle ground.

She doesn't want to pick out a ring for herself, and she really isn't picky. It's just a manner of avoiding things she's taken a dislike to. That's why I'm focused on squarish radiants and squarish cushions. Anything with a nice clean look, white to the eye, and light return should work.

I decided to look at another image from James allen, and remove the original Radiant diamond from my options. This new radiant is a 1.21 Carat H-SI1 Radiant Cut Diamond for about $6100. Looks nice, and supposed to have the best performance of the three images I've posted here:

This would cost $1000 more than the other two I listed above. I need to decide if this is a good deal or not. Potentially I could add another $1000 and get a slightly smaller Princess of Hearts cut from GoG. I don't know how big a difference that makes though.

Appreciate any advice here!
