Thanks again everyone! I'm blown away by how much everyone loves Aurora!

Let it suffice to say that while DH couldn't 100% recreate his first proposal with my original e-ring (the location would have tipped me off since it wasn't on the way to where we were going), he made an effort to come very close. The original proposal wasn't one of those over-the-top things you see now, and he'd already asked me before we bought the ring; we'd always laughed at the circumstances of the original giving of the ring (I said he had to ask me again with the ring), but it was our story, you know? He found a similar location, and totally surprised me as I thought we were getting off the freeway because of traffic and my need to find a restroom.

He didn't ask me to marry him again; he recited his vows while giving me Aurora, shaking as much as he did at our wedding.

Like you, I had a .25ct ering which I also wore for 25 years of marriage (our anniversary was Aug 6), and like you, I just upgraded as well, and also to an old cut!! I enjoyed reading your story as much as I enjoyed looking at your incredibly beautiful ring!

Happy Anniversary!!!!! 25 is such a milestone so you definitely deserve a beautiful ring!! Here is too many more years to come wearing that gorgeous (ie I'm extremely jealous) ring! And have to note that I love it that much more that it is a real antique ring vs. repo!!!! Nothing is wrong with repo's I just think it adds to the charm and makes it that much more special.
