Good enough for government work?

Hi, I got a great deal on a .51ct diamond from a thrift shop and would like to use it to create a set of earrings. After weeks of searching I am realizing that finding an exact match second hand will be difficult and wanted to know what you guys think of as a margin of error for clarity/color and size should be. My diamond is 5.08-5.13 and I recently found one that is 5.24-5.28 and am worried it will be noticeably bigger than the other one. Thanks in advance for the help!

You will see the difference if they are side by side, as in a 3 stone ring, but with your head in-between, the size difference will not be obvious as earring stones.
