Going by what you have here, it seems a good price, and it should be very fiery. Who graded it? And have you seen it?

No, I haven''t look it yet since we were browsing online. It is an excellent web site, we had bought from them before. It''s really reliable, however, we couldn''t tell which one is the best to choose from.

Here''s another one looks really good to me, however, instead of F, it''s G colour.
Please look and help me since we need this ring as soon as possilbe for our up coming engagement party. With not much of the price difference, this one seems better other than the colour.

$6548 US.
Cut: Ideal & Round
Colour: G
Measurement: 6.48 x 6.53 x 3.96 mm

Carat Weight: 1.01ct
Clarity: VS2
Culet: None
Girdle: Medium
Table: 54%
Depth: 60.9%

33° crown angle, 40.8° pavilion angle
Polish & Summetry: Excellent & Excellent
Fluorescence: None

H&A
Additional pinpoints not shown

One to two, crystal, feather, cloud & pinpoints, not as much as the other one.

Please reply ASAP .... Thanks a million :)

Hmm, well, your crown angle has gone to the other extreme. I know at some point there can be a stability issue with shallower crowns, but I don''t recall off hand where exactly that is. Hopefully one of the experts (which I''m not) will chime in here soon.

One thing I will say, with the first one, you have a stone some people seek out, they are hard to find. If you love fire, that would be the one.

Can you get the grading reports on these?

Hi Ellen,

Thank you again for replying me.
I copy everything from the actual GIA report that scan it on the internet.
Speaking of fire, do u mean the colour? Or else, and you tell me more.
With stability, do u mean they are both not safe?

Thx,

Fire is the colored flashes that come off a diamond in certain lighting situations.

These are GIA, who round numbers on the crown and pavillion angles. So you''d really need a Sarin report to find out the exact measurements, otherwise we just don''t know what the true angles are.

If you can''t get that, try to find a diamond with a CA of 34-35 with a PA of 40.7-41. An AGS graded diamond will have the true measurements on it. That would keep you in a safer range.
