Hi! I was wondering if anyone could help me.

Is 3.7 grams of gold weight a decent weight for a 3.5 mm tapering to 2.2mm engagement ring setting?

Such as...how many Karats is the gold? Are you asking how much pure gold would be needed, or how much material in general?

Oh...good question! I hadn''t even considered it would depend on the metal

It is 14K white gold. I just didn''t want to end up with a setting that is not very substantial, ya know?
And I can''t mentally relate grams of gold to weight in my mind.
