Gold in quartz pendant?

Well i don't know squat
But it sure is pretty
I would love to own that

I have been down a gold mine in South Africa - Vaal reef
and you can see the gold seam in the quartz
 
I have no expertise, but I think it’s beautiful and I would totally wear it!
 
If the price is right, I would love to have this piece.
The natural stone is so interesting!
I had a smaller piece like this and I lost it somewhere in my garage. I was trying to polish it. I lost my grip on it, and the polishing wheel flung it somewhere. I never found it.

These pendants are very expensive on Ebay. I saw several that were over $1000.

Sadly I didn’t get a chance to go back for this or the emerald! We were out on a day trip—2 hours from home—so I will have to see if we can go back one of these days bc they are closed on Sunday...ugh. First world problems!

I’m trying to put myself on a bling ban since I’ve had such a spendy summer with my upgrade and the 1 settings that I bought for it, lol. Ugh...why do I window shop knowing that I’m going to come upon these great deals!

So when the seller told me it was gold I found it hard to believe at that price. So I said ok, this alleged gold pendant and he said not alleged—it is gold. I can test it for you. But I didn’t have him do that bc I was unsure.
