HI there! I have a stone to be set - a bit over a carat - don't have specs yet. And it is a toss up between Mark Morrell Flame, Ingwer Solitare - 4 prongs but they look double, the Lucida style setting for a round stone or the Vatche 4 prong, and Solsafara (spelling?) also has a great solitare setting...has anyone seen these in person and if so which do you prefer???? and which allows for the stone to show its fullness (make it have the biggest impact?)

Hands down he wins. Personal opinion, but very few do it as well. Nobody does it better.

Unfortunately, I haven''t these settings, in person, however, I just wanted to chime in that I LOVE the Mark Morrell Flame setting. It is just gorgeous.

Good luck and, whatever you decide, I''d love to see pics. You have selected some lovely options from which to choose.

Amen sistah.

wow...I am so excited! I have tried taking pics of the loose stone, however, they keep coming out blurry no matter the setting...so you don''t think 6 prongs is too much on stone that is a little over a carat? It seems like most setting have huge stones in them and it is hard to get an accurate perceptin as to ho wmy ring will look...

No, 6 prongs aren't too much for a 1+ ct.

i''m sorry, i''m confused - yes 6 prongs are too much for a stone a little over a carat or no there not? any input??

lol Sorry! keyboard sticks.
