I guess it's time for me to start checking out those stacking bands.
I wonder if I could pick up a whole bunch of bands...AND another diamond?
PSers, is that greed?

I would totally vote for you to rock your 2ct in a new and exciting setting. As an old cut lover, it makes me sad to think of you cheating on it with a smaller ring! For your budget you could get a fab setting for it. Beverly K, perhaps?
I bet your guy would like some antique settings if he''s into antique things otherwise. My guy is the same way- we both work with antiques and he''s got VERY definite taste in settings/jewelry (and very good taste, which he never believes). My DH also detests the Tiffany solitaire, haha. (It''s grown on me quite a bit, I admit.)
Haha, me too! Exactly. I still adore seriously detailed/complex antique settings, but for a fabulous stone, I'm starting to at least *get* the Tiff solitaire. OK, I admit, though, it was realizing the original knife-edge design dated to the 1890s (IIRC, I'm too lazy to check right now!) that really made me appreciate it properly.I have to say that the Tiffany solitaire has grown on me, too. Before, I would only look at Edwardian or Deco pieces!
