Gift Help - Eternity Ring

I'm looking at purchasing an eternity ring for my wife as a gift. This would be for a right hand ring. I'm leaning towards IDJ and something in the 3-4 ct range, but can't decide whether to with emerald or round eternity band. Does anybody have either a round or emerald eternity ring from IDJ in approx. the 3-4 ct range that they could show me a photo of? Any suggestions on whether the round or emerald is a better choice?

I don’t have an eternity band, but in terms of whether to go with a round or an eternity band, I guess it depends on your wife’s preferences. For me, I would prefer an EC band over MRBs any day. I feel like emerald cuts sit closer to the finger, so they’re more comfortable, they’re elongated so it looks more sizeable on the hand, and I like the patterning of a step cut and how any ring that is stacked with an EC eternity can sit flush.

What shape is her engagement ring center stone? Is she likely to wear the eternity band with the engagement ring?

Sorry that it took me a few days to get back to everyone!

I'd prefer diamonds all around vs. just on the top. She has an asscher engagement ring that is around 1.75cts, so this would be a right hand ring and would not be worn with her engagement ring.

I know she likes step cuts, but am nervous about getting a well cut emerald band.
