I've bought a diamond back in Febuary and in March of this year and is looking to buy another one now. I saw on the is dated as April on the GIA cert and seems like a fairly new stone. But the odd thing is that the registration number on the April stone is much smaller than number on the Feb and March stone. The numbers for the Feb and March stones are in consistant order (March stone number is higher that Feb). Is this a sign that the April stone was recut and regraded? Should I be concerned? Any advise would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
