Oh I saw a gorgeous stone cut very similarly to this stone last month. Looks like it missed being graded as a Circular Brilliant because of the length of the star facets.
How is it under the table? Does it stay bright most of the time? The faceting pattern looks pretty.
I have a small oec that goes dark under the table which bugs me.
You have a good eye. With my loupe, I see a small chip there.
This is a very interesting stone that is similar to some I have been doing some virtual research on.
Near 40 degree crown with a 40 degree pavilion.
They are very interesting and suffer on systems like ASET because of the broken contrast model.
If to you it is over dark it should be a pleasantly bright fiery stone.
Symmetry is only good but given the girdle numbers on the report it is probable that is had some work done sometime in the past.
A big question is how big is the cavity and where is it at?

so its been damaged since the grading report.
That is grounds for requiring a new report prior to purchase.
It's a huge gorgeous ring. I hope you do love it.
