Gemprint

While I'm waiting for my diamond (and setting) to come, I'm wondering if it's worthwhile to get a Gemprint done on it as well. Here in the metro DC area, there is one "Gemprint Center", Continental Jewelers in downtown Washington, DC. I called them and they quoted me $35 for a Gemprint but I'm not sure if that included the registration? Since my insurance company (Erie) is listed as offering a 10% disocunt for diamonds that have a Gemprint identification, is it worthwhile?

What's the general consensus among the experts here on Gemprint?
