I got the pastel tourmaline! I really want the beryl and copper tourmaline , but I've spent a wee bit too much this year.
Congrats. That’s a beauty and quite sizable.
I agree with you about that beryl...sooooo gorgeous!

I LOVE this sapphire! It's the perfect color for me, but I already have one in this size or I would've grabbed it, too. it looks to be the color you want. You can return it if it doesn't match your skin tone, but it's really pretty!Congrats on the tourmaline, MrsKMB! It's lovely!
I'm interested in the blue sapphire. Jeff was kind enough to send a video.
I'm very much a novice when it comes to blue stones. I like a medium tone blue, and my preference leans more to darker than lighter. I'm very fair, so I feel like jewel tones suit me better than pastel/lighter colors. Any opinions on if this little stone would work for me?

I wasn’t getting the emails either. You can sigh up for text message alert the tells you the new gems are available. You can also reserve a gem via that text msg!

Ahhh so pretty!!!!! I figured out how to find the link by using info from an old email before mine stopped coming. Anyone quick enough to see the price? I don't think I've seen one this large before!!

Ha! I know the feeling
He has commented before about how some email providers block the newsletter, treating it as "spam" (which is really frustrating, considering that folks have SIGNED UP for it and WANT to receive it). You might check your junk email folder to see if it is in there. If so, you might be able to mark the email address as a safe sender so that you'll get them in the future. That worked for me a while back when I realized I wasn't getting the Gem Scoop any longer.

Hey, you never know! If you're interested, I would just shoot him an email and see if he's willing to accept a lower price. He is a super nice guy, so you wont offend him by asking.

My pastel tourmaline came yesterday. I wasn't sure if I'd like the color when I bought it, but holy crap, is it pretty!!!! It's so sparkly, it looks fake! Jeff also had custom boxes made for his stones- they are classy and add an extra-special touch.

He sent me a video on the lavender spinel. It is a delicate lavender with the iron stain that gives it an interesting bi color effect. Since it is Luc Yen origin I suspect the rough was not inexpensive. The only reason that I did not purchase it was I felt it was a bit too large for my lifestyle. I was looking at the chondrodite too. I’ve never heard of that type of gemstone before but it had a gorgeous color.
